By partnering with Edviron's services, the School provides the necessary consent for the collection and processing of student and parent information. Edviron is not required to obtain specific consent from individual students or parents for the collection and processing of their data. The School’s decision to engage with Edviron's services is considered as implied consent for the collection and processing of student and parent information. Edviron disclaims any and all liability in this regard. If any user does not wish to have their data shared with Edviron, they should contact both Edviron and the School, as the data is shared by the School. It is important to communicate your preferences regarding data sharing directly with both Edviron and the School to ensure your concerns are addressed appropriately.


Why Edviron Collects Information

Edviron partners with Schools to provide technical support for fee collection. We collect student information, fee structures, and related data to set up and maintain the School dashboard. This data enables us to facilitate the fee collection process, send payment links to parents, generate fee reminders, and provide comprehensive reports to Schools.


The Data we Collect

  1. School Data: Edviron collects data from Schools with whom we partner, to provide technical support for fee collection. This data includes student information such as name, class/grade, section, age, fee structures, discounts, fines, and other relevant details necessary for fee management.
  2. Parent Data: When parents use our services or platform for fee payments or communication, we may collect certain personal information from them. This information may include but is not limited to: a. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, WhatsApp contact number and location details of the parent. b. Payment details, such as bank account or debit/credit card information, required for processing fee payments. c. Details of fee payments, including payment history, dates, and amounts paid. d. Records of communication with parents, including support queries, inquiries, and feedback.
  3. User Activity Data: We may collect data on user activities when you use our services or access our platform. This includes but is not limited to: a. Usernames, timestamps, and IP addresses associated with login attempts. b. User interactions with features, functions, and content within the platform. c. Usage patterns, session duration, and clickstream data to analyze user behavior and improve our services. d. Edviron may utilize cookies, and similar technologies to enhance user experience, personalize content, analyze trends, and gather information about user interactions with our platform. This may include information about the user's device, browser, IP address, and preferences. Users can manage their cookie preferences through their browser settings.
  4. Third-Party Data: In some cases, Edviron may receive data from third parties, such as payment processors, payment partners, Schools or any such third party service provider engaged by Edviron to facilitate the fee collection process.

This involves utilizing the information you provide to set up and maintain the School dashboard, facilitate fee collection processes, and update platform features to meet the changing needs of Schools and parents.
  2. Customer Support: We utilize the information you provide to address your inquiries, respond to support requests, and assist you with any issues or concerns related to our services.
  3. Research and Development: We may use your data for research and development purposes to enhance our services and develop new features. By analyzing the data collected, we gain insights into usage patterns, user preferences, and areas for improvement, helping us deliver an optimized and user-friendly experience.
  4. Enabling Communication Between Users: We use your data to facilitate communication between users, such as enabling Schools to send payment links to parents and providing a platform for secure and convenient fee-related discussions and updates.
  5. Marketing and Outreach: With your consent, we may use your data for marketing and outreach purposes. This includes sending promotional materials, updates, and relevant information about our services. You have the option to opt out of such communications at any time.

These payment processors handle the financial transactions on our behalf, ensuring the secure transfer of funds from parents to Schools. We ensure that these third parties adhere to strict data protection standards and use your information solely for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services. Additionally, we may share your information if any governmental authority or law enforcement officers request or require any information and we think disclosure is required or appropriate in order to comply with laws, regulations, or a legal process.


Your Rights to control your data

  1. Right to rectification: In the event that any personal data provided by you is inaccurate, you shall have the right to provide us with the accurate data and have us rectify such data at our end immediately.
  2. Right to erasure: You have the right to demand us to erase your personal data and we will do so, provided that the data is no longer required by us. Do note that multiple legal bases for processing your personal data may exist in parallel and we may still have to retain some of your personal data at any time as per the relevant laws.
  3. Right to withdraw consent: You have the option, at any time while availing our services or otherwise, to withdraw your consent given to us for processing your data. We may occasionally send you service-related announcements when deemed necessary, such as temporary platform suspensions for maintenance or important security, privacy, or administrative updates. These announcements will be sent to you via WhatsApp, SMS or email, as we see fit.
